Our AgeScan state-of-the-art solution helps guard against the possibility of selling to a minor, which can lead to fines (some as much as $5,000), the loss of your license to sell alcohol and tobacco and even criminal prosecution and civil penalties.

With a database of all formats of each state-issued driver's license and/or government-issued ID (except Georgia), WeScanIDs' AgeScan System verifies the age and identity of your clients quickly and efficiently. The system utilizes encoded data on the ID card to display the age of your customer. Upon swiping the card, your customer's name, date of birth, address and driver's license number is printed and age is verified. The technology can conveniently be implemented as a standalone device, or interfaced with your existing POS software, protecting your business with reliable third party verification. We provide you with posters, stickers and decals to place in your storefront, to make underage customers aware that you will be checking their ID. In addition, we send a letter to your state alcoholic beverage commission notifying them of your policy of deterring minors from purchasing alcohol and tobacco.
